The 33 views presented here form an architectural photo-essay of the California 1894 Mid-Winter Fair, including a panorama of the grounds and views of individual buildings, and for the host city, San Francisco, and Yosemite Valley at the time, with montages of scenes from both places. Rocq locates only a similar title published in Maine. OCLC locates five copies (California State - Fresno, Huntington, California - Berkeley, Yale, SMU). View sheet separated at the first fold, but a good copy of a scarce viewbook of San Francisco's 1894 Mid-Winter Fair. Original gilt-stamped decorated cloth boards (spine worn, lower joint cracked).
