I (all published). 12mo. xv, 380 pp. With the 1795 ownership signature of Dr. Samuel Foreman of Monmouth, New Jersey, on an interior leaf and his later ownership signature on the front endpaper; Foreman was among the physicians who treated the wounded at the Battle of Monmouth Courthouse in 1778 during the American Revolution. Evans 29916 (not located). Shipton & Mooney (AAS only). OCLC locates seven copies (New York Public, American Antiquarian Society, Harvard, Delaware, California-Riverside, Richmond, Wake Forest). Quite scarce in trade, with one copy recorded at auction in the past 35 years (ABPC, 1976-2011: 1983, $65). Some professional restoration to the binding by Phil Dusel, uniform age-toning to the text, but a very good copy with a nice contemporary association.
