The Lucky Bag of Nineteen Twenty Nine: The Annual of the Regiment of Midshipmen

Among the graduating class was future science-fiction master Robert A. Heinlein, with a full-page devoted to his class photograph and biographical information, signed by Heinlein at his picture, and signed, as well, by many other members of his class, including Medal-of-Honor winner Bruce Van Voorhis, a fighter pilot killed in the South Pacific in World War II, and two other highly decorated veterans of that war, future Vice- Admiral James Flatley and future Rear Admiral Warner Rodimon. The first copy of this annual that we have encountered signed by Heinlein who is also pictured in the drama group (the "Masque Raiders") and with the fencing team (though his name is not given there).
