Sammelband of five pamphlets on Naval Gunnery gathered by Rear Admiral A.A. Harwood,; (great grandson of Benjamin Franklin), with his name label on pastedown and signature on individual pamphlets at various ranks. A. A. Harwood's career in the Navy started with his appointment as Midshipman on the gun-brig Saranac in 1818. He retired with the rank of Rear Admiral in 1874.
