First edition. 4to. 4 pp. The first page illustrated with a wood engraving, 3 1/2 x 6 1/4 inches, of a large carriage drawn by four horses, three drivers atop and another on one of the horses brandishing a whip; with the separately printed map. Gives distances from stops along a route from Paris, through Auxerre and Chalons, to Lyon, and back t o Paris through Moulins and Fontainebleau, with brief tourist information on the towns along the route. Apparently not recorded on OCLC or KVK. A fragile and ephemeral coach-route guide with a little foxing and fraying at the edges, but a handsome survival with its separately issued map, not frayed or foxed. Folded. (#5192). Item #58222
