Account of a three-week fishing trip for swordfish off Montauk Point and the nearby waters of the Block Island Sound, with detailed daily entries; the "banner fish" of the trip was a 12-foot swordfish. A typed letter, signed by the author, presenting the book and containing private financial information is laid in, in part: "I usually write up a story of all my trips for a few of my friends ... I hope you will enjoy this attempt of an amateur to describe the glories of the off shore wind." Bruns M-91. Very good. Original gilt-stamped green cloth, top edge gilt. (#5170). Item #58159
