NP: Citizen's and Taxpayer's League (printed Chicago, Allied Printing), nd [ca. 1940]. Printed broadside, 11 x 8 1/2 inches, featuring several sizes of bold type. Prohibition became law of the land in the United States with the ratification of the 18th Amendment in 1919, but was repealed with the passage of the 21st Amendment in 1933; this broadside was issued to fight a movement to restore prohibition on a local basis.
