[Washington, DC]: The Evening Critic, 1884. Printed broadside, 10 1/4 x 8 1/2 inches (trimmed, only the right edge remains of the printed ornamental border enclosing "A Happy New Year."), on pink paper. Both poems commenting on the passing of time and the promise of the future. The Evening Critic was a daily, published in Washington, D.C., 1881-1885, succeeded by The Washington Critic. Not recorded on OCLC. Laid down on pink paper, some rubbing and fading, but a good copy of a scarce carrier's address. (#4991). Item #58064
