Amy, Coly, Syntha, June, [and] Rebecca Mumford."

Washington, County, PA: 1840. Folio, 12 x 8 1/8 inches, approximately 125 words; witnessed by Samuel Greer, docketed on verso "Emancipation / Bond / Edward West." West, a native of Loudon County, Virginia, was a significant landowner in Washington County's Fallowfield Township. Documents relating to American slave emancipation are quite scarce on the market.
