Roosevelt's photographer for this portrait was Louis Fabian Bachrach, Sr. (1881-1963), second in a three generation commercial photography business, Bachrach Studios, started by his father, David Bachrach, photographer of Abraham Lincoln at Gettysburg, in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1868; Louis Fabian Bachrach, Jr., representing the third generation of the family, was best known for his portrait of John F. Kennedy that was used as the president's official photograph after his election in 1960. A very nice image of FDR, boldly signed by him. Matted, glazed, and framed. (#6455). Item #57745
