Broadside, 24 x 20 inches, employing several styles and sizes of type, including a large display type for the horse's name (3 3/8 inches tall) and other large display types, with the text offering terms for stud service, places and dates for standing, Bullrush's pedigree as a famous Morgan horse and a physical description of the horse." Advertising standing dates for five towns in Portage County, Ohio, Rootstown, Edinburgh, Palmyra, Deerfield, and Atwater. "Bullrush Morgan is a colt of the Old Morgan Bullrush of Vt., the Old Bullrush by Justin Morgan, the original Morgan ... second to no horse of the turf, and equaled by none in Ohio." Not recorded on OCLC. Tear in lower portion of text, affecting a few letters, but a wonderful display broadside in an attractive frame. Printed on salmon paper, glazed and framed. (3775).
