Original gilt-stamped olive cloth, price slip tipped-in at title page. Very good. First edition, volume one (volume two was published in 1915 in a different format). 1908 ownership signature of N.E. Harris (with a later inscription to his wife) who served in both theaters of the war and as Governor of Georgia, 1915-1917, and published his Autobiography (Macon, 1925), recounting both experiences.
