Collector David Sherman's bookplate on the front pastedown endpaper; endpapers foxed (offset from paste under pastedowns), shallow half-inch chip in front edge of front free endpaper; spine strengthened with matching green cloth, beginning to split in several places along rear joint; both front and rear hinges strengthened with rice paper.
