First edition thus and second American edition of Johnson's Tour (which was first published in Baltimore, 1810, without the "essays" included here). This is actually volume eight of Durell's edition of Johnson's Works (1809-1812), with a new title page replacing the original first two leaves (title page and contents leaf); according to the colophon printed by Jane Aitkin. Not recorded in American Imprints. OCLC records three copies (New York Public, Pennsylvania, Franklin & Marshall).
