(Selma, AL): From the Selma Daily Reporter, [1863]. Broadside, 8 x 5 inches, on blue paper. Old folds, a little light foxing, but a very good example.
First separate edition. Chapman (1791-1863), a native of Virginia, moved to Tennessee at an early age and on to Alabama in 1818, serving as a judge on various courts for more than 30 years; at the time of his death, both of his sons and his son-in-law, Gen.
