Printed broadside, 13 x 8 1/4 inches, with a blank integral leaf, employing two type sizes and styles for the headline, the whole enclosed within an ornamental border. Outlines the duties of the station overseers, including required maintenance, record keeping, etc. Hummel 2187 (South Carolina only). Not in Turnbull. Not recorded on OCLC. Paper soiled, brittle, and browned, now laid down on archival paper; some chipping at the edges and corners (taking an upper corner and affecting the border in another and taking an inch of border and two letters of text along the right side). Still a good, restored example of a rare ante-bellum South Carolina railroad-related broadside. (#5071). Item #50584
