4to. and 8vo. All of the documents come from the papers of Charles Sabin, whose promotion to fourth sargeant, signed by Brown, is recorded in the earliest broadside. That first item is torn and somewhat rumpled, the other items are very good. Item #47649

Among the printed items are one fund-raising form and a series of announcements for a camp excursion, special meetings and parades, a drill, an anniversary celebration, a "Washington Ball," and a gathering to act on Brown's resignation after his election as general of the state militia in 1858. The two autograph notes instruct Sabin to prepare fro emergency musters.
