8vo. 2 pages, approximately 125 words. In part: "We hired a black boy and started off on the train to go shooting and we had very good sport. I saw more birds today than I saw in a whole week in Maryland. Dash did very well and found most all the covies … I am going to stay at some gentleman's house for a few days shooting … p.s.
