First issued under a different title in 1834. The map is hand-colored in outline and includes small inset maps of Cincinnati, Albany, New Orleans, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, and Charleston; it extends from the Atlantic coast to Missouri and Arkansas (labeled here "territory" although it gained statehood in 1836).
