This announcement, for her appearance in Washington, D.C., alleged wide acclaim for Miss St. Clair's lectures but also promised enough door prizes at the event (e.g. ten hoop skirts, one ladies' gold watch, 18-carat gold rings, etc.) so that "everybody gets a present." Unrecorded on OCLC and RLIN (which does locate a similar handbill from 1864 for a lecture critical of the Mormons and their leaders, supposedly based on her three-year residence in Salt Lake City).
