CIRCULAR FOR A NEW BOOK ENTITLED "COSMOS-PHILOSOPHY."

Osceola, NE: Jan. 12, 1899 (date filled in by hand). Prospectus from an unpublished book (?). Single sheet, printed on one side only, measuring 5 x 10 inches. The author, E.D. Buckner, M.D., states that he is writing a book "showing design in creation and the place man and animals occupy in the Universe, from a humane hypothesis..." He takes issue with "barbarous amusements of sporting with animal life..." and is against vivi-section. He requests the readers of the circular to keep his address and send him any information that might assist him in his work.
