Stitched sheets (unopened). 8vo.; 18pp. Carr, a native of Anne Arundel County, was a Lieutenant in the third Maryland Regiment, having joined the ranks in 1776, until illness & disease forced him to return home in 1780. He never resigned, but his name was subsequently left off the muster rolls. He is petitioning for compensation for service. Supporting & contrary letters & affidavits accompany the petition.
